I spent the first chunk of my career in general contracting — managing builds, coordinating trades, juggling timelines, and learning pretty quickly that construction is equal parts skill and chaos. After twenty years in that world, I made a decision that felt obvious in hindsight: I wanted to focus on the one thing that actually brings a project home. Not the framing, not the drywall, not the cabinetry. The floor. It's the first thing you feel when you walk into a room and the last thing you notice when everything else is done right. It's what makes a house feel finished. I fell in love with flooring — the craft of it, the materials, the way the industry keeps evolving with new products and installation methods — and I haven't looked back since.

My business partner is a different story entirely. He didn't come to flooring through construction — he was born into it. He was eleven years old the first time he helped his dad on a job site, pulling up old carpet and watching how a floor gets laid from the subfloor up. That's where he learned. Not in a classroom, not from a YouTube video — from his dad, on his knees, doing the work. By the time most people are figuring out what they want to do with their lives, he already had a decade of hands-on experience under his belt. Flooring isn't just what he does. It's genuinely all he's ever known, and that depth shows in every job he touches.

Together, we built C & C Flooring Co. around one idea: that every single client deserves to walk away completely happy — not just satisfied, but genuinely proud of what their space looks like. We don't cut corners to save time. We don't recommend materials we wouldn't put in our own homes. And we don't hand your project off to someone who wasn't part of the conversation from the start.
